I stayed standing
Not steady—
Just enough
to pass as strength.
Bending quietly.
Hands shaking.
Mind slipping—
just enough to lose hold.
No one noticed
how close I was.

Let Them Fall
Let them be who they pretend to be,
and let them fall.
Leave them to their misery,
their hollow claims and borrowed skin.
Negativity, truth, karma
will swallow them whole.
They are their own demon,
their own slow demise.
True colours fracture through the mask,
the costume stained beyond repair.
They hate the mirror of their own heart,
so they hide inside a stranger’s face. -

Is it Better to Feel Numb?
Is it better to feel numb?
Even just for a little while.
To turn off from the sadness, you’ll know you will have to face again and againOr is feeling numb a sign that the sadness has become too much? and you have become used to feeling like this,
Used to all the bullshit and the trauma, that feels never-ending.
And being numb is a coping response to try and feel some peace, even if its short lived, even if its for one moment.
One little sliver of peace amongst the chaos.
One moment of floating instead of falling into the void of darkness that is my mind.

Covid-19 – Coronavirus
Quarantine.
Isolation.
The world is falling into desolation.
Ravaged by a disease that controls the population.Stay inside,
Stay at home,
Follow the rules,
Or face the consequence of police discretion.Fines, fines,
Trying to stay alive,
As it spreads people drop like flies.Normal is long gone.
Restriction is the new norm.
Society conforms, some rebel,
Only to prolong the quarantine hell.Covid-19
Coronavirus infection.Man-made or human error?
Evolution of influenza.
Or earths way of clearing out the disease that is us human beings?
Either way it is happening, and we must face it head on.Prevent.
Retreat.
Flatten the curve. But people would rather panic buy,
And turn everything into chaos.
Stupidity at its finest. It has shown our weakness and enraged our fears.
This is our new normal,
But for how many years.– “Covid-19 – Coronavirus”
