  • Indigo Hues, Watercolour Skies

    Indigo Hues, Watercolour Skies

    I cry watercolour skies,
You can see the tracks of my tears.
    I’m too dead inside.

Indigo hues deepen as daylight wanes,
    And I realise,
I don’t live here anymore, inside my head.

All I can think of is,
    Hope is a slow poison,
    And temporary ecstasy,
    is enchanting,
Against the fatal embrace of time.

  • Seek The Balm For The Soul

Seek The Balm For The Soul

    Seek the wonder in life,
    And never stop.

    Seek the showers of gold,
And the shimmers of sweet light.

    The good things,
    The mysterious things,
    The wonderful things.

Never stop seeking what makes you smile.

Allow yourself to get lost in the magic.

Seek the balm for the soul.

  • Is it Better to Feel Numb?

Is it Better to Feel Numb?

Is it better to feel numb?
Even just for a little while.
To turn off from the sadness, you’ll know you will have to face again and again

Or is feeling numb a sign that the sadness has become too much? and you have become used to feeling like this,

Used to all the bullshit and the trauma, that feels never-ending.

And being numb is a coping response to try and feel some peace,

even if its short lived, even if its for one moment.

One little sliver of peace amongst the chaos.

One moment of floating instead of falling into the void of darkness that is my mind.

  • We Become One

    We Become One

As the sun sets over the mountains and darkness becomes night,

Our souls reset for another day.
    Our hearts settle.
Our minds may race processing the day that is done.
    Our body lays to rest.

As the sun sets over the mountains and darkness becomes night,
We become one with our true self.

  • When The Mind Gets Messy

    When The Mind Gets Messy

My dear, I know the mind can get messy as emotions are all jumbled up.
But your soul is still beautiful,
    Your heart, still strong;
And your spirit still flows wildly with every passing day.
The darkness is the truth in reality,
Sometimes it’s the bittersweet knowledge that we come face to face with,
That brings us to clarity and understanding.
Although the journey can be tough and troublesome,
The universe is guiding you to the right way to live a full life and be free.
Find your peace amongst the chaos and hold on.
All the pain and struggle are worth it in the end.

  • Insomnia – Lost Sleep

    Insomnia – Lost Sleep

    Darkness consumes me.
Darkness welcomes me into its sorrowful lair. Holding me there, captive with my thoughts. Crashing together wildly and with no control.
The pain is heavy and hazy.
The weight of everything, everyone and everyword heaped upon my shoulders.
Pain shoots through my whole body, the kind of pain that touches the soul; that tries to weaken the spirit.
My journey is not easy and my mind sometimes is unforgiving.
My bones crack, my muscles ache, my head foggy from lack of sleep. My eyes tired from looking into the abyss of the night. Unable to shut off. Unable to dream a sweet sleep.

  • Power Of The Full Moon

    Power Of The Full Moon

    Full moon, guide me.
Direct me through the stars and the wind.

    Hold me close.
    And open me up,
To the energy without and within.

    Protect me from the negative.
    Bring me positivity and wisdom,
    Intuition and knowledge.

Fill me up with your all-mighty power,
    To live another day,
To fill my soul with love and peace.

Bathe me in your everlasting light,
And show me the way through the night.

  • Nourish The Soul

    Nourish The Soul

    Heart and mind.
    Body and soul connected.
Balance is key to a life well lived.

Nourish yourself and grow in wisdom and knowledge.
And know your soul lives on for eternity.

Humanity is but a small part of your soul journey,
To learn valuable life lessons and to understand your divine capabilities.

  • Reason To Be Here

    Reason To Be Here

Sometimes I wish not to be here.

To no longer walk this earth, to breathe this last breath.

    Sometimes everything is too much.

    All the thoughts and voices,

    Pain and sorrow;

    Overwhelming.

Then I look to the horizon.

    Meeting the suns gaze.

Feeling the rays of light warm against my skin.

A deeper unknown pulls at my heart, stirs the mind.

Speaking of reason to be here.

Reason unknown but futhermore a reason of truth.

    Walking through the fire, burns.

But for it we become stronger.

Eventually at peace within the flames. All wisdom, all power lies within.

  • Thank You

    Thank You

    Thank you
    For release.
    For teaching me expression,
    And the many lessons.

    Lessons of love,
    Life and pain.
    Bittersweet reality,
    And dream state fantasy.

    Holding onto hope.
    Through the battlefield of life.
    Through the good, the bad,
    And all the in between.

    And lastly,
Thank you for showing me the way,
    To letting me be me.

  • Why Do We Run?

    Why Do We Run?

We run and run and keep on running.
But what are we running from?

    Ourselves?

The darkness inside that eats the soul?
If it is left to rot in silence,
    Without release.

    Why do we hide?
    When we can conquer.

    Be friends with our demons.
Take a walk with them and learn,
The inner secrets of your soul.

    Run inwards not away.
To face the light another day.

    Lost your brain.

    Find it amongst the chaos,
Where we are stripped of our misguided layers,
    To reveal our rawness.
    True to heart.
    To who we really are.
Amongst the darkness and in the light.

    Fading in and out,
    Of reality and insanity.
    Searching for serenity.
And a little peace in our heart.

  • I’ll See You On The Flip Side

I’ll See You On The Flip Side

I’ll see you on the flip side.
    My dear friend.

Where you can tell me all the adventures,
Of your ride into the sun.

    Parting ways.

As I sway through the galaxies,
    Against the gleaming moon.

I’ll see you on the flip side,
    My dear friend.

Where amongst the shadows and dreams,
    We will meet again.

  • I’m stuck between feeling like saying fuck you then if that’s how little I mean to you now; and like I wish things were different and simple because even though my heart hurts I could never hate you. I loved you ever so deeply that a part of me always will.

  • Shattered Heart

    Shattered Heart

Watch me make the world think I’m ok.
Like I have danced all the pain away.

    Disguise,
    The storm inside.
    That rages on.
    Barreling waves crashing,
    Over and over again.
    Drowning.
    My heart heavy,
    And soul quiet.
    Crushed.

    But nobody would know,
    Nobody would buy it.
From the smile I put on,
A front to keep moving through,
    My haunting thoughts.
To find what is still true.

Watch me, I’ve mastered the art.
Of looking like I’m not falling apart.
    But inside,
I really have a shattered heart.

  • Pure Black

    Pure Black

    Night time,
    Heart burning.
    Soul churning,
    Spinning and transforming.

    Darkness,
    Pure black.
    Comfort in silence.
    As inside me rages,
    A war of searching.
For a means and an end.

    Solace from pain.
    Before insanity takes a hold.
    Welcome crazy,
    A change from the old.

    Fear into action.
    The night holds all truth.
    From love to hate,
And the very essence of you.
