Silence and Night Thoughts

Tired,
Eyes closed.

Into the night,
Where my mind wanders.
Finding peace in the silence.

Awake,
While the world sleeps,
And I am left to ponder.

The moon shines.
Waxes and wanes.
My light in the darkness,
Cleansing the pain.

Finding myself,
Through all the mess.
Searching for the answers to life’s philosophy.
Serenity, peace, love?
Life, death, solace, suffering?

I don’t think this world will ever make 100 percent sense.
But to explore the deep and unknown,
Is to explore and wisen the mind and soul.

Search for the horizons,
Over the oceans.
Beyond your deepest walls,
And behind the mask,
That society insists is reality.

Truth.

Will we find out in death?
Possibly.
But live a full life of gratitude and adventure,
Before you have no fear to welcome death,
And jump into the unknown.

When we are old and wise,
Have searched and searched,
And seen through life’s disguise,
Will death be the answer,
To our mortal life’s demise.

Hold on.
Be strong.
Have no fear.

Let the silence of the night be your solace.
And the spirit of the day be your adventure.
And know that you are never truly alone, my dear.
