  • Melancholia We Meet Again, My Oldest Friend

Melancholia We Meet Again, My Oldest Friend

    In the space between endings
    Where the shadows settle

    Demons hide in the corners,
    Creeping aroung my delicate bones.

    My loneliest hour,
Sadder than the skies crying out.

    The inevitable fall,
    The deepest inhale
Before I drown in this violent storm of tangled memories and pain.

Melancholia we meet again, my oldest friend.

  • Serenity Is A Dream

    Serenity Is A Dream

    My mind is at war.
    My heart wants peace.

    One moment I am falling,
    Then floating the next,
    And falling again.
    On repeat.

    The demons creep around.
    Seeping into my bones.
    They have become my bestfriends
    When I am alone.

Serenity is a dream far away from here.
    Reality is a prison.
    Constantly trying to escape,
But never fully reaching the exit gates.

  • Indigo Hues, Watercolour Skies

    Indigo Hues, Watercolour Skies

    I cry watercolour skies,
You can see the tracks of my tears.
    I’m too dead inside.

Indigo hues deepen as daylight wanes,
    And I realise,
I don’t live here anymore, inside my head.

All I can think of is,
    Hope is a slow poison,
    And temporary ecstasy,
    is enchanting,
Against the fatal embrace of time.

  • Forever in Flight or Fight

    Forever in Flight or Fight

I hate it in my own head.
    My own worst enemy.
    Wishing I was dead.

    The demons get too loud.
The cloud of illusion rolls in quick.
I can’t get myself to calm down,
    And realise,
    Its all in my head.

    Sorrow holds its grip tight.
And I try and try with all my might,
    To overcome, to push through.
But sometimes reasons are gone with the wind.
    The grip is too suffocating,
And the screams of pain too loud.

    I am my own enemy.
    But at the same time,
    I am my own saviour.

    The battles are just ongoing.
The end of the war is no where in sight.
    Day to day,
    Night to night.
    Forever in flight or fight.

  • To My Love

    To My Love

    Hold me close my dear.

    Hold me near and near.

    Never let go.

    Your warmth and light,

    Keep me safe always.

May love be with us forevermore.

    And may love and peace,

Be all the happy moments we share.

    I am with you always,

    Heart and soul.

    Through stormy seas and sunshine,

    And all the inbetween.

You have my being to the core,

You hold my heart with yours,

    Intertwined together.

  • We Become One

    We Become One

As the sun sets over the mountains and darkness becomes night,

Our souls reset for another day.
    Our hearts settle.
Our minds may race processing the day that is done.
    Our body lays to rest.

As the sun sets over the mountains and darkness becomes night,
We become one with our true self.

  • Black and White, Full of Colour

Black and White, Full of Colour

Sometimes life is black and white.

Other times life is full of colour.

    It is what it is

And we take it as it comes.

    Hazy and delusional,

    Or clear as day.

    Clarity from the demons,

And time to love and play.

    Black and white,

    Full of colours,

Life is both day and night.

  • Modern Savages

Humanity still lives in the dark ages.

    We think we have evolved,

But indeed we are going backwards.

    A mix of primitive animals

    And modern savages alike.

    Already run by machines.

  • Paradoxical Mind

    Paradoxical Mind

The mind is a paradox of both dark and light moments and thoughts.

Without the dark we cannot see the light.

Without the light we cannot learn from the darkness.

    Both intertwined in perfect balance,

For our exploration of our inner soul and divine soul journey.

  • The Lightbulb Moment

    The Lightbulb Moment

    Some life lessons and challenges are harder than others. Some take longer than others and are more confusing. And some life lessons and challenges do not make sense at all until that lightbulb moment;

Where all the pieces of the puzzle fall together.

We face hardships and pain but in the struggle we grow in wisdom and truth.

  • Broken Chaos

    Broken Chaos

    Weary

    Hazy

    Conflicted.

Damaged like a broken piece of china.

    A beautiful mistake.

The aftermath of a cruel heartbreak.

    Sorrow

    Pain

    Chaos

Always feeling lost and out of place.

  • Scars Linger For A Lifetime

    Scars Linger For A Lifetime

    Faded memories
    Faded time
I can just remember when i used to call you mine.
But you left a scar on me that i can not forget. A scar on me that i can not shake.

All the emotions of love and happiness, pain and sorrow intertwined.

    How you made me feel is what still lingers here;
You brought me up to pure bliss
and pulled me down into the dark abyss.

Our story is one that goes all around.

We closed that chapter of our lives and started a new
But you left me hanging in the end, with unanswered questions and an empty heart, a lonely bed.

You still linger in my head.
The scar never fading, and a new perspective on love, life and change.

  • Break Free, Break Form

    Break Free, Break Form

    Break Free.
    Break Form.

    Do not conform,
    To the unstable society,
Full of lies and fake belief.

    Do not become a robot,
A part of the 21st century working machine.
    – “Break Free, Break Form” – Jacqueline Ann Lente
