  • THE WRATH OF THE BROKEN

I carried the wrath of the broken.

    Or maybe—

    It carried me.

Are we broken for the better,

Or just addicted to the dark?

    A rose in the mud.

    Wrong side of midnight.

    Nothing grows here—

    It survives.

    Shadows of old friends

    Linger longer than they should.

    Laughter echoes—

    Warped now,

    Still sharp enough to cut.

    There is a stillness

    Between breaths.

    Not peace—

    Just pause.

    We reach for it anyway,

    Mistaking silence

    For healing.

    Trapped in the quiet unravelling,

    We miss the tremors

    Of collapse.

    No impact.

    No warning.

    Just the slow, sinking truth—

We were never fighting anything else.

    We became

    The enemy

    We swore we’d never face.

  • Nothing Leaves Clean

    Nothing Leaves Clean

    Fallen tears,
    coffee stains.

    Sunlight
    cracks through the window—
    soft,
    but unforgiving.

Heaven is a state of mind.
    Hell lives in the heart.

    And letting go
    never leaves clean.

  • Let Them Fall

    Let Them Fall

Let them be who they pretend to be,
    and let them fall.

    Leave them to their misery,
their hollow claims and borrowed skin.

    Negativity, truth, and karma
    will swallow them whole.
For they are their own demon,
    their own slow demise.

True colours fracture through the mask,
    the costume stained beyond repair.
They hate the mirror of their own heart,
so they hide inside a stranger’s face.

For a moment we are whole, delusions of the young.
We don’t realise the ocean of black that awaits our older souls.

  • Affogato Afternoons

    Affogato Afternoons

Affogato afternoons, where the day softens and the heart sharpens.
I sip the sweetness melting into the bitter, hoping it teaches me something honest.
I remember I’m allowed to slow down.

    Some afternoons are a truce.
    Others are a battlefield,

Where I sit across from myself, letting the espresso burn through the fog I thought I was done fighting.
But here – in this melting moment – I let it all blur.
The past I’m trying to outgrow, the future I’m not ready for, the voices that rise like steam and disappear just as fast.

Because in affogato afternoons, I learn the same truth over and over:
Even the bitter can soften. Even the frozen can give. And sometimes, the only way forward is to let yourself melt just enough to begin again.

Tra fiori selvatici e vino, I toast the ghosts that never learned to leave me.

I tear the petals, I drain the bottle, I dare the night to swallow me whole.

    I bloom where I burn.

  • Two Strangers

    Two Strangers

You smell like rain and I want to be a part of your storm.

    Drown me in your gaze.
    Rearrange my mind.
    Hold me close,
    Skin to skin.

Keep me warm from the cold of the outside world
And the world inside my head.

    Our demons may be different,
    But we wear matching wounds.

Tangled bones and a map of scars.
Just trying to find some guidance home.

    The sad truth is
No one else can save you.

You have to dust away the misery.

Darker times behind, darker times ahead
    We are endlessly changing.

    Facing scattered dreams,
    Silent screams.

    Bleeding for a thousand reasons.

    Rebirth,
    The heart beats slow.

    Safe in quiet places
    Seeking my own comforts,
My own means to stay alive.

  • Unnecessary Fear

    Unnecessary Fear

We dwell on fear and let it consume us. We let fear overwhelm us with its tight grasp, pulling us further down into the destruction of the self. We are clouded by the worst possible consequence that we do not see opportunities right in front of us. We fail to take hold of them, and we let them pass by. A placebo effect of fear can sometimes stop us in our tracks.

Most of our fears are unnecessary and have unnecessary control over us. We must break the chains that bound us. We fear what ifs and everything falling apart. However, we will never know the outcome if we do not take the chance to take the risk. Sometimes aspects of our lives falling apart is a blessing in disguise as it paves the way for bigger and better things to come in the future. There is a reason for every moment even if it takes times to make sense of.

We should not let fear hold us back from exploring our greatest adventures and moments. Do not let fear define you. Fear should not dictate your life.
Take that leap, make that move and run full ahead into your goals and dreams.

  • Graveyard

    Graveyard

    Bare soul.
    Bare bones.

    It has all gone cold,
    In my heart of stone.

    Faded away,
    To dust and ash,
Carried away by the wind of the night.

    Only darkness,
    Only emptiness remains.
A graveyard of memories that once were happy days.

  • Covid-19 – Coronavirus

    Covid-19 – Coronavirus

    Quarantine.
    Isolation.
The world is falling into desolation.
Ravaged by a disease that controls the population.

    Stay inside,
    Stay at home,
    Follow the rules,
Or face the consequence of police discretion.

    Fines, fines,
    Trying to stay alive,
As it spreads people drop like flies.

    Normal is long gone.
    Restriction is the new norm.
    Society conforms, some rebel,
Only to prolong the quarantine hell.

    Covid-19
    Coronavirus infection.

    Man-made or human error?
    Evolution of influenza.
Or earths way of clearing out the disease that is us human beings?
Either way it is happening, and we must face it head on.

    Prevent.
    Retreat.
    Flatten the curve.

But people would rather panic buy,
    And turn everything into chaos.
    Stupidity at its finest.

It has shown our weakness and enraged our fears.
    This is our new normal,
    But for how many years.

  • Walk With Your Head Held High

Walk With Your Head Held High

Walk with your head held high into the night, into the pain and into the light.

You are stronger than you feel you are, with whatever the suffering you may be going through, hold on, hold tight.

Don’t give up, don’t doubt yourself, be ready for the fight.

The battles may be long and enduring, but you will conquer them all.

Save yourself and free yourself and find peace amongst the chaos of it all.

  • Life Is Like A Vast Ocean

Life Is Like A Vast Ocean

Life is vast like the ocean, full of surprise and mystery both above and below the surface.

Sometimes we get carried away by the crashing waves and the storm brewing around us, thinking we are unable to make it back to shore.

We have to ride the waves and the seas of our soul, finding the calm and the stillness amongst the chaos of it all.

Anchor yourself with peace and love.

Slowly but surely the winds of wisdom and truth will guide us forward and to the shore again. 🌊

  • Stormy Seas

    Stormy Seas

There will always be stormy seas, ups and downs.

There will always be darkness within the light, forever intertwined.

Just as a thunderstorm commands power but brings beauty, clarity and calm before and after; we humans experience the same in our emotional, mental and physical self.

The storm and the struggle may be rough, but it carries us through the lessons we must learn.

And the light is always there to guide us and show us beauty and wisdom in everything we do.
