  • WATCHING IT CHANGE

    Hues of soft flame
    burning through the sky.

    Pink whispers.
    Orange bleeding through.

    Blues fade—
    clouds turn.

    Then
    midnight
    takes it all.

    And I stay
    to watch it
    become something else.

  • Some things don’t ask to be spoken–just understood.
  • UNEARTHED

    Deep with rage
the soul rots between the bones.

    Voices fade.
    Words disappear.

    Sleep comes—
    never gently.

    Standing alone in the forest,
    the ground underneath
    swallowing me whole.

    I escape morning
    After night
    has unearthed my bones.
