    Your strength, your story,
    The fire that drives your heartbeat forward through the night.

    I’m not afraid of the monsters you carry—
    The rage born of old wounds, the scars,
    The hurt forged in your bones.

    I am no stranger to the dark underworld;
    My monsters, my oldest companions—
    Linger like background noise that refuses to die away.

    But we are not our monsters;
    We are what we create from the mess they leave behind.

    I aimed for red—
    sunset bleeding orange and fire,
    a perfect contrast.

    Then it changed.

    Green.

    I almost didn’t take the shot.

    But I did.

    And now I see more than I planned—
    not colour,
    but a path.
    A horizon waiting.

    We spend so long waiting for the perfect red,
    the perfect moment,
    the perfect sign—

    but life doesn’t wait.

    It turns green.

    And every green light
    leads to the horizon.

    So go.

    Two Strangers

    You smell like rain and I want to be a part of your storm.

    Drown me in your gaze.
    Rearrange my mind.
    Hold me close,
    Skin to skin.

    Keep me warm from the cold of the outside world
    And the world inside my head.

    Our demons may be different,
    But we wear matching wounds.

    Tangled bones and a map of scars.
    Just trying to find some guidance home.

    Full moon, guide me.
    Direct me through the stars and the wind.

    Hold me close.
    And open me up,
    To the energy without and within.

    Protect me from the negative.
    Bring me positivity and wisdom,
    Intuition and knowledge.

    Fill me up with your all-mighty power,
    To live another day,
    To fill my soul with love and peace.

    And show me the way through the night.

    Through the battlefield of life.
    Through the good, the bad,
    And all the in between.

    Thank you for showing me the way,
    To letting me be me.

    Where you can tell me all the adventures,
    Of your ride into the sun.

    Parting ways.

    As I sway through the galaxies,
    Against the gleaming moon.

    Where amongst the shadows and dreams,
    We will meet again.
